Citizens House Publishers (CHP)

is a newly established independent publishing house. Our titles represent only what we consider the best in literary, philosophical, and often historical merit as works of art.

Our motto is: The Only Reality is Flight. Flight of the imagination, flight of the aesthetic, the pellucid flights of thoughtfulness and description.

We publish titles of authors who challenge the status quo globally and locally, and inside of the inevitable intersections. Our wish is that our readers will receive the ability to experience that often uncharacteristic and evasive but always inevitable intersection.

In summation, as much as our readers receive from our authors, we hope that our authors will receive from our readers. Even if this is never verbalized but stays quietly - with maturation and fruition - in the minds of both reader and writer. Whether the title is fiction or exploratory nonfiction or other possible hybrids, that is our goal. What we call a "benign loop."

Right now we represent and have concrete alliances for the future with authors from the UK, Europe and the USA.

To a calibrated extent CHP keeps in mind the activities and goals of Faber & Faber in the early part of the 20th Century. Still, we are not Faber & Faber, and times have changed. But we find it useful to note it.
